how I got here
Xander
Founder · Culture & community
I build the places people want to hang out.
core principles
01
Go where people already are.
Build inside the apps they already open every day.
02
Let people in on it.
Fans want a say in what they love. Hand them the tools and they'll make the rest.
03
People trust people.
A creator's audience already listens to them. So I start with the creators.
04
Know when to grow and when to listen.
Some months are for reach. Others are for getting to know the people already there.
05
Make people feel something.
Fun gets the first session. Feeling something with other people brings them back.

About me
I started in 2018, growing niche Instagram pages from school. Since then I've built games inside Discord and started companies around communities: a bootstrapped fan-insight startup for music labels, and a chocolate brand that TikTok creators sold for us.
Right now I'm at Bloxd, a web game, doing social and product. The thread through all of it: find where people already gather, then give them something to do together.
