Bloxd is a block-building game you play straight in the browser. Nothing to download, so a link is the whole funnel.
I run its social channels and work with the product team on new gamemodes.
Running the socials
I run everything Bloxd posts, and YouTube comes first. That means a new Short every day, plus a trailer for each new gamemode.
Making seasons a feature
Players need reasons to come back to a live game. I pushed for seasonal events to become a regular part of Bloxd, and the first was Trick or Treat, a Halloween gamemode I came up with for 2026. I built the demo myself with AI, then handed it to the gameplay team to make the full game.
- Ten players, five minutes, one town. Knock on doors and collect candy.
- Some doors trick you. A witch chases you for 15 seconds, stealing candy as she goes.
- Rivals are fair game. Find tricks around town and throw them at other players to make them drop candy.
- Most candy wins.
Trick or Treat, Bloxd's first seasonal gamemode.
It was also the first time Bloxd had leaderboards, and the first time players could earn a cosmetic by playing. Win three games or collect 2,000 treats during the event and you unlock a Halloween profile effect.

Then the players took it from there. Creators made their own videos about the event, like this one from Cyrex ExD.

Building for creators
A game like Bloxd grows when players make videos about it, so a lot of my work is making those videos easier to make.
I built bloxd.cc, free for anyone making Bloxd content:
- More than 3,000 Bloxd assets, from models to item icons.
- A tool to pose the player, and a nametag maker.
- A scene builder for thumbnails and short videos.
- A place to apply for the YouTuber rank.
