A slow, social game for Discord. A whole server grows one tree together, collecting the fruit that falls from it and catching the bugs nearby for a Pokédex-style sticker book.
Something to look after together
Most of what a server does together is talk. I wanted to give a community something to tend: one tree that belongs to everyone and only grows when people come back to water it.
It started as a simple side project. Then the players made it theirs:
- It helped people make friends, and even start relationships.
- Players wrote LaTeX papers on the most efficient way to play.
- They drew a lot of fan art.
- It spread to communities from creators like Beluga to brands like Logitech.
The Goblin Tree. One server has been watering it for over four years.

Bugs to catch
Bugs turn up around the tree for players to catch, and every one has a space waiting in the sticker book. Filling it is something a server does together.

A tree for every season
The world around the tree changes through the year. Halloween brings its own spooky tree, candy corn, toffee apples and a 2026 stamp.

Fruit that falls from the tree, seasonal ones included.
Up through the sky
Grow it tall enough and the backdrop climbs with it: off the ground, into the sky, past the edge of space and up to the moon.
